i heart pirates

ok. on a side note: bones last night was about pirates. specifically, blackbeard. i got the heads up from a friend at work because, while i may watch csi every night i can, i do have some limits to the crap i'll watch on tv, and i don't watch bones. unless csi isn't on. which it always is. but i digress.

the real purpose of this post is to further our search for the awesomest animal (living or extinct) and we might have gotten a step further...

ladies and gents, may i present the tiktaalik.........
This awesome fish/lizard/crazy thing is thought to be the first fish to jump onto land. it was anywhere from 4 to 9 feet long. and look at those fins/feet! so so cool.
